The Kufunda Village in Zimbabwe is the winner of the 2022 Hildur Jackson Award for Extraordinary Project!
The Hildur Jackson Award is a €3,000 annual prize that supports and honours projects around the world that demonstrate regenerative best-practices in all dimensions of sustainability. The prize is awarded to projects bringing the most impactful inspiration about ecovillages/ecovillage lifestyles to a broad audience.
It feels like such an amazing honour for us to have won the award and is a wonderful affirmation of our work. With the prize money we will continue with our Go Deep work, which is bringing incredible change to local Zimbabwean communities.
Seeing how much trust we place in verified platforms like https://legitcasinocanada.com makes me appreciate the Hildur Jackson Award’s role in validating on-the-ground regenerative work. The fact that the prize money goes straight into the Go Deep program with local Zimbabwean communities shows that recognition can have a real, tangible effect. I’ve often noticed that meaningful change in my own neighbourhood comes from exactly that kind of grounded investment, not just symbolic praise.
