A healthy community begins with a thriving relationship with the land. We are committed to healing with the land—growing food in ways that nourish both people and soil. We weave together organic and biodynamic practices to regenerate the land and deepen our connection to the earth.

We believe in PEOPLE creating their own solutions - drawing from the diversity and wealth of what is already here. We know that when conscious, confident people come together to explore what matters most, healthy action flows.
We care for the LAND. We grow food in ways that regenerate the soil and nourish the people, and invite others into doing the same.

We include our CHILDREN. Our Waldorf-inspired school, woven into Kufunda's work, has deepened our connection to the wider community - an unexpected and beautiful gift.

THE DREAM
A LEARNING CENTRE IN ZIMBABWE
Kufunda began as a dream—one that called for remembering. A remembering of the quiet brilliance, resilience, and deep-rooted wisdom of Zimbabwean people, especially those in rural communities. It was born from the knowing that communities thrive when they stand in the strength of their own knowledge, their own stories, their own ways of creating and sustaining life.
​Kufunda is about uncovering what has always been present—wisdom, beauty, and the capacity to shape our own future. When we truly unearth what is already here, we open space for what is yet to emerge. Kufunda is a place of learning, a homecoming to dignity, diversity, and the capacity to shape a healthy and vibrant future together.

Rooted in Zimbabwe, Kufunda carries the spirit of many journeys, many crossings, many hands coming together to co-create. It is held and shaped by the people who gather here, by the practices that invite presence and connection—conscious dance, mindfulness, time in nature, deep listening. Over the years, it has become a space where individuals and communities wake up to who they are and what they can be—walking together towards a more just, beautiful, and life-affirming world.
