My recent trip to Denmark really helped me witness the impact of our work and to see how much we are doing here, as well as how needed and appreciated it is out there in the world. Being able to observe and experience that gave me a lot of strength and inspiration to share more about our work, our engagement with community, and what it means to truly be in community at this moment.
It reminded me of how important it is to hold each other’s hands, to slow down, and to listen deeply to what wants to rise.
It is so easy to get caught up in the busyness of everyday life, but this experience brought me back to the importance of being on a journey of inquiry—exploring what it really means to be alive and present in this moment of life.
It was beautiful.
I truly enjoyed sharing our work with the Flow Game and witnessing how it brings more clarity to the questions we meet every day. It was also a meaningful moment for me to reflect on how much we have been using this game and how we have each taken it into ourselves as part of our own processes. For me, it feels like the Flow Game has been living within us more and more, becoming part of how we engage, reflect, and connect. It was very beautiful to have the space to share this
Another reflection that came from this experience is that sometimes it is difficult to see the impact of our own work when we are deeply within the community.
We can easily feel that we are not doing enough, or that what we are offering is not as significant as it truly is.
We can become caught in our own stories and in our own ways of seeing, which sometimes prevents us from recognizing the value of what we are already bringing.
During my time in Denmark, I honestly felt that Kufunda has so much to share with the world.
Witnessing how our work was received and how it created connection, reflection, and meaningful conversations reminded me that there is something valuable here that wants to be shared more widely.
The question I am carrying now is: How can we spread more of our wings without hesitation? How can we move beyond looking down upon ourselves or feeling that we still need to become something more before we can share what we have? Of course, there is always more to learn and more ways to grow, but perhaps there is also an invitation to simply be who we are and share from that place with joy, openness, and excitement.
Spending time with people who are living a different way of life from ours also brought many reflections. It reminded me of the importance of bringing more joy into our lives; to slow down, and take time to truly sing, dance, and be together. Even though there is so much uncertainty and craziness happening in the world, there is still joy, and there is still a possibility for us to come together and celebrate what it means to be alive right now. It was so beautiful to experience how, simply through singing and dancing together, we could celebrate, enjoy, and remember another way of seeing each other and being with each other.
This journey was a beautiful reminder that our work is not only about what we offer to others, but also about how we continue to live it ourselves.
It is about staying connected, staying curious, and continuing to explore what it means to be fully alive, together, in community.

After the Flow Game reunion, I had a beautiful time connecting with the land and the Himmelbjerggården community where we stayed. I enjoyed working with David in their beautiful organic garden, and for me, it was such a gift to deeply engage with the people and the land. What I loved most is that this community is bringing a practice of how to live in an ecological way, where we care for each other and the land and environment. Even the way they grow their food is with conscious care for the earth, and you could really tell from how the land is reviving back into its natural state.
We had an important time to share Kufunda’s work and learn from Himmelbjerggården. I felt so strongly that we are working towards the same goal: Exploring what it takes to build resilient communities worldwide. There might be differences in how we do things, but the core goal is the same.
It was so beautiful to witness how similar work happening in Zimbabwe is also happening in Europe. For me, that gives so much hope for a positive future globally.
