May 14-18, 2027

This will be our third annual Learning Festival!

For five days, Kufunda Village will be a vibrant gathering space - farmers, teachers, community leaders, and changemakers coming together in a festival of learning.

At the heart of each learning festival is the weaving of our three core threads:

  1. the collaborative spirit of the Art of Hosting,

  2. the spiritual depth of Anthroposophy,

  3. and the practical experience of our community practices - such as biodynamic farming, waldorf education, community engagement and more.

As a living learning village, we invite you into an interactive experience of the Kufunda way of living and learning.

Come if you are...

  • someone who learns through doing, reflecting and being in community.

  • curious about how inner development and outer change belong together.

  • longing to to cultivate more participatory, regenerative ways of living and working.

The Programme at a glance

Mornings will focus on the inner path of leadership in community - with experiential learning, artistic exploration, core teachings, and reflective community dialogue.

Afternoons offer pathways of deepening professional learning, with focused modules for those wishing to bring these practices into their own communities.

Each day includes solo time in nature for reflection, reinforcing the connection between personal insight and community transformation.

Evenings are dedicated to storytelling—sharing experiences from the communities, learning from one another, and deepening the principles that guide Kufunda’s work.

Module Offerings

Modules will be finalised later this year but they will likely include:

Art Therapy – Exploring creative expression as a means of healing, supporting teachers in working with children in need of special support through creative expression.

Biodynamic Farming – A hands-on introduction to biodynamic principles, soil health, and regenerative agricultural practices that align with nature’s rhythms.

Go Deep for Community Engagement – Tools and approaches for community buildingand strengthening community resilience with a focus on learning from the Go Deep Process, one of Kufunda’s core approaches.

Waldorf Teacher Training – Exploring the foundations of Waldorf education, including child development, storytelling, and experiential learning.

Women Are Medicine: Holding Space for Women’s Circles – Cultivating safe and nourishing spaces for women to reconnect with their inner wisdom, strength, and collective support.

Let us see what becomes possible when we listen deeply to every voice, practice the art of living the future seeking to emerge through us, and walk that path together in community.

You are warmly invited to join us.

We will be journeying further with this theme of Rooting and Rising with the young people for a two week gathering in August. For more information on the Youth Gathering click below:
