Flowgame Reunion

Attending the Flowgame Reunion in Denmark with Sikhethiwe was a deeply meaningful experience. It was a special opportunity for Flowgame hosts and stewards from different parts of the world to meet, practice together, learn from one another and strengthen our shared purpose. It was truly a time to light each other's candles and deepen our connection as a global community.

We began the first day with the Warrior of the Heart practice, grounding ourselves, sharpening our intentions, and preparing for our time together. We also played the Flowgame to explore our individual purpose and gain clarity about our personal journeys and contributions.

Our morning practices included Movement Medicine Dance alongside the Warrior of the Heart exercises. These practices awakened our bodies, minds, and spirits, creating a strong foundation for learning and connection.

We spent time playing community games that helped us imagine and vision the future together. These experiences reminded us that Flowgame is not only about individual growth but also about building thriving communities through collective wisdom.

One of the highlights of the reunion was listening to stories from the founders and senior stewards of Flowgame. It was inspiring to learn that Kufunda has been part of the global Flowgame story from the very beginning. Knowing that our work and practices are recognised and appreciated around the world filled me with pride. I felt honoured to be a Kufundee, knowing that our stories have touched and transformed many lives across the planet.

The gathering also created space for us to envision the future of Flowgame together. It was an opportunity to explore how the practice can continue evolving while remaining rooted in consciousness, love and service.

Some of the quotes and insights that deeply inspired me were:

  • "My only home is to awaken people who want to be human."

  • ‘In nature, problems and challenges flow where there is softness, just as water flows downhill."

  • "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the sky."

  • "Flowgame is a passage for generational shift."

  • “ Use the game as part of life."

  • "Flowgame is about living the process and practising with consciousness."

  • “A movement from the individual to the community."

  • "Flowgame can be joyful, co-creating together."

  • "Life stories invite us to ask: Where do we intend to go? What is our personal intention?"

My greatest learning from the reunion is that Flowgame was not created to make money. It was created from love, with the intention of helping people live more consciously, connect deeply with themselves and others, and move through life with purpose. Through practice, presence, and community, the game becomes a way of living rather than simply a game to be played.

I return home inspired, grateful and committed to continuing this practice within Kufunda and my wider community, trusting that every meaningful conversation can contribute to a more conscious world.
